The Capa de Casa Grande is where the slaves were baptized before they were sent to America. A museum is a place with a magnificent chapel and the canons here are seen on the outside. The chapel is a beautiful stone structure in the middle and is devoid of any kind of description. Many objects of that period gone by are seen here. So you can find the whip, stocks, and shackles here in the museum. There are framed prints on the walls and they have published works with a lot of information. There is a flat-screen monitor here to detail the exhibits.
Also, visit the National Museum of Natural History which is another place with the best depiction of Angolan culture and history and has the most impressive display of masks, and sculptures, and other tools and jewelry along with the clothing and the musical instruments of those times.
The Fortaleza de Sao Pedro da Barra is another interesting place to visit and is a 17th-century construction. The area is the place where the slave trade began and was used to keep the slaves till they were sent away. The fort has had many nationalists who were arrested and they were taken to the labor camps.
