This place is quite undiscovered and is still quite unspoiled. These big wooden boats can be rented and you can have a very romantic day trip that takes you all around the Lamu archipelago. You should definability try the grilled fish lunch. The grilled fish in this region is very famous and most delight able.
Most of the people who used to live here, including the hippies have left now; these are replaced with a group of European backpackers and people from many different places on the planet. .
