When you think about things to do in Marrakech and decide to go sightseeing in Morocco, make sure that you never hire an unofficial guide. In fact, it is illegal to do so in Marrakech. When you just step out of your hotel in Marrakech, you will find official licensed guides. These guides will tell you about the many places quite hospitably.
On top of my list of things to do in Marrakech would certainly be to go and explore the amazing market. The guides would tell you things like, the best place to buy spices is at the outdoor market. The guides aren’t expensive and don’t charge that much anyway.
When you enter the elaborate spice market, you will see a huge labyrinth of open-air stalls and dark corners. The whole thing is all twinkly eyes and also quite suave in Morocco.
You could try out the cellophane sleeves of turmeric and cumin and when you come across a vendor who is nothing less of looking grim, who would probably have vials of different sizes of blossom oil or even neroli for that matter. By now when you have your unusual spasm of near synthesia, you would probably even be able to see the lovely orange blossoms.
After this, you could take a break and go back to your hotel room. The best choice would be the La Mamounia, which is an opulent four-star hotel which you could treat as a famous entry point for Marrakech. There are many witnesses here who take a good liking to the different spices and oils that you get here. The guides and vendors here have special deals and bargains and so it would be best if you proactively asked your vendor about this. In fact, when you come to mind the word ‘shakedown’ and acknowledge what it is about then you will notice a chain of what seems like illogical information and anxiety. These just keep coming up every now and then. These would then threaten to burst right out from the head which is like an elevator in something as whimsical as Charlie and the Chocolate factory.
Once you grab the spices and the oil, you could walk further for about five minutes until you reach the most remote section of the hotel. This is probably where you find an ashtray that looks like a canister. After this, you can bite into the cellophane with sleeves that open out into them. Once they drop all that is inside them, this goes down quite ashy and starts swirling around. This makes for a spin art that looks quite unique.
